Marjory J. Runyan

Marjory J. Runyan, 92, of Plainfield, passed away July 21, 2015. She was born February 25, 1923 to the late Harley and Edith (Lancet) Mitchell in Terre Haute, IN. She worked at Projected Sound as a line worker for 10 years. Later she worked in the cafeteria an Plainfield Schools for 3 years retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church. She is survived by a son, William J. Runyan; 4 daughters, Janet S. (Richard) Snider, Diana M. Bennett, Linda J. (Ronald) Bush, and Joan E. (Michael) Mains; 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Runyan. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 24, 2015 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Friday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Clayton Cemetery. A special thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice and Village of Avon for the special care given to Marjory.
