Lou Ann Rivers

Lou Ann Rivers, 87, of Plainfield, passed away June 21, 2015. She was born November 24, 1927 to the late Leonard and Neva (Souder) Knoll in New Castle, IN. She was a homemaker and a member of the Plainfield Christian Church. Lou Ann is survived by her husband, Allan E. Rivers; three daughters, Carol E. (Thomas) Wesseler, Connie A. Fisher, and Gail L. James; a son, Scott N. (Dianna) Rivers; 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Rivers. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Friday, June 26, 2015 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday, June 25 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield, Memorial contributions may be made to the Plainfield Christian Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
