Virginia G. Brown

Virginia G. (Frantz) Brown,91, of Brownsburg, passed away January 13, 2009. She was born May 21, 1917 to the late Arthur & Hattie (Lamb) Frantz in Bridgeport, IN. She graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1935. She married Joseph R. Brown July 3, 1940. He preceded her in death in 1982. She worked for Herff Jones for 23 years retiring in 1978. Mrs. Brown was a long time member of Ben Davis Christian Church. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Glauber; a son, Larry Brown; grandchildren, Shannon (Brian) Houk, Bob (Angie) Brown, David Brown and Scott (Trisha) Glauber; great grandsons, Justin and Jordan Houk, Spencer and Corbin Brown; and great great grandchildren, Taylor and Aiden Houk. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Wayne Glauber and two brothers, Kenneth and Donald Frantz. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday January 14, at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Burial, Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
