Hollis B. Burdine

Hollis B. Burdine, 78, of Plainfield, passed away May 17, 2015. He was born February 7, 1937 to the late Bea and Myrtle (Brannon) Burdine in Somerset, KY. He was an assembly line worker for Witco for 32 years retiring in 1995. He is survived by two sisters, Levon Gammon and Bertie Bingham; a sister-in-law, Barbara Burdine; special friend, Annadean Watson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings and their spouses, Haskel and Lucille Burdine; Herman and Emma Burdine; Deloris and Marshall Keeler; a brother, Bobby Burdine and brothers-in-law, George Gammon, and John Bingham. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 am until service time at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
