Randal J. Murat

Randal J. Murat, 54, of Plainfield, passed away April 16, 2015. He was born May 13, 1960 in Indianapolis, IN. He was a 1978 graduate of Plainfield High School. He received the honor of becoming an Eagle Scout. He received his Mechanics Certification from Lincoln Tech. He worked as a mechanic for Railroad Car Service until 1981. Randy is survived by his partner, Theresa Murat-Prater; his daughter, Karly D. Murat; his parents, Donald and Lois Earlene (Boltz) Murat; a brother, Rex A. (Jill) Murat; a sister, Cindi S. Murat; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Friday, April 24 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
