Myra A. Swift

Myra A. Swift, 93, of Plainfield, passed away December 16, 2008. She was born February 17, 1915 to the late Isaac and Ethel Atkinson in Hendricks County, IN. She worked at the Indiana Boys School as a secretary to the Superintendent for 20 years retiring in 1977. She was a member of the Quaker Homebuilders and the Plainfield Friends Meeting where services will be held on Saturday December 20 at 10:00 am. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Friday December 19 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial, Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. She is survived by her two sons, John and James Swift; a daughter, Virginia Lindley; a sister, Helen Agan; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Swift and a daughter, Meredith Blubaugh.
