Winifred L. Meece

Winifred L. Meece, 90, of Plainfield, passed away April 1, 2015 in Westside Village Nursing Center, Indianapolis. She was born August 16, 1924 in New Harmony, IN to the late Roy and Bonzie Morris. She retired in 1976 from Hendricks County Hospital as an administrative assistant. Winifred was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Plainfield, (1290 S. Center St.) where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4, at 1:00 pm. Friends may call at the church from 11:00 am until service time. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Meece in 1998 and a brother, Robert Morris. Survivors include a son, James Meece; daughters, Marylou (Robert) Hapner, Linda (Stephen) Osborne and Anita (Jeff) Brown; brother, Charles Morris; sister, Margaret Livingston; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
