John C. Baker

John C. Baker, 71, of Avon, passed away April 2, 2015 in Methodist Hospital. He was born April 8, 1943 in Brownsville, TX to the late John W. and Dorothy P. Baker. He was a computer engineer for 25 years at Hewlett-Packard retiring in 2000. John also retired as a driver for Cummins Behavioral Health System in 2014. He was a member of Plainfield Church of Christ. Funeral services will be Monday, April 6, at 10:30 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Sunday, April 5, from 3:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Jean Baker; sons, Scotty (Nina) Baker, Chris Baker and Jared (Rachel) Baker; grandchildren, Nicholas, Alex, Max, Victoria, Megan and Luke Baker.
