Ruth Shover

Ruth Shover, 90, of Auburndale, FL (formerly of Clayton, IN) passed away from this life on March 13, 2015. Ruth was born September 24, 1924 in Prestonsburg, KY. She worked many years in the cafeteria at Public Service Indiana in Plainfield and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge # 115 of Plainfield, IN and Clayton Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 18, at 10:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Tuesday, March 17, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. (Roy) Shover and daughter, Marlana Sue May. Survivors include her daughters, Joyce (William) Stock of Auburndale, FL and Betty J. Grant of Cookeville, TN; grandchildren, Stephanie (John) Marshall of Plainfield, IN, Michelle (Chris) Smith of Rapid City, SD and Brian (Vicki) Grant of DeKalb, IL; 2 great grandchildren.
