Raymond E. Rushton, 93, of LaGrange, GA, and Zephyrhills, FL, and Avon, IN, passed away January 22, 2015. He was born December 8, 1921 to the late Harry and Alice (Hadley) Rushton in Monrovia, IN. He was a grinder for Link-Belt Bearing Plant for 36 years retiring in 1982. Raymond is survived by his wife of 71 years, Martha E. (Merritt) Rushton. He is also survived by a son, Kenneth D. (Carolyn) Rushton; two daughters, Melia R. Schrader and Linda C. Smith; a brother, Bernard H. Rushton; a sister, Wilma R. Pine; 9 grandchildren, Ginger (Mike) Garner, Carl (Angie) Summerlot, Jenny (JJ) Iovino, Maria (Mike Mullis) Hays, Nicole Hays, Karen (Walter) Hill, Greg (Keri) Schrader, Doug (Amy) Schrader, and Jill (Todd) Albright; and 15 great grandchildren, Marissa and Audrey Sims, Kaitlyn and Taylor Garner, Alora and Ivy Lynn Summerlot, Gigi, Maddie, and Joey Iovino, Trey and Cole Hill, Camden Schrader, Jade and Chance Atwell, and Kage Albright. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Monday, January 26 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial will be in New Winchester Cemetery.
