Rebecca S. Poray

Rebecca S. "Becky" (Wells) Poray, 52, of Plainfield, passed away November 18, 2008. She was born August 18, 1956 in Huntington, WV. She was a waterfront manager at Green Lake (WI) Conference Center, and later she became a Special Education Assistant for three years at Broad Ripple High School where she was an assistant coach in basketball, volleyball and tennis. She is survived by her parents, James Kelly and Judy (Porter) Wells; two sons, John L. Jr., and David S. Poray; two sisters, Denise McDaniel and Allison Kelley; and many nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Kelly Wells II. Memorial services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Plainfield 1012 Stafford Road, at 3:00 pm Saturday November 22, 2008, where friends may call from 1:00 until service time on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, Becky has requested that a scholarship fund be established to benefit female athletes at Broad Ripple H.S.
