Margaret C. Maxwell

Margaret C. Maxwell, 82, of Plainfield, passed away January 10, 2015. She was born May of 1932 to the late Carroll and Ethel (Talbott) Rhodes in Potomac, IL. She was a graduate of St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Danville, IL. She was a RN for over 30 years retiring from Community Hospital East in 1990. She was a member of Hope United Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder and was also in the Hope Presbyterian Women. She was a member of the ABWA. Margaret is survived by three daughters, Jane E. (David) Johnson, Pamela (Mike) Burback and Linda (Donald) Schulze; two sisters, Mildred Woten and Sonya Ray; and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles K. Maxwell. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the Hope United Presbyterian Church, 1331 Section St., Plainfield. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 16 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to The Gathering Together Hospice.
