Robert Lee Fields

Robert Lee Fields, 79, of Danville, IN passed away January 11, 2015. He was born November 22, 1935 to the late George and Margaret Hazel (Evans) Fields in Eubank, KY. He was an US Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He worked over 35 years for Olin Brass Co as a clerk in storage and receiving retiring in 1996. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0110 and the Moose Lodge #2121 both in Port Charlotte, FL. Robert is survived by a daughter, Tracy Lee (Daryl Gentry) Schoenberg; three sisters, Ruth E. Bradley, Frances I. Dawes and M. Carole Summers; 2 grandchildren, Chris (Tiffany) Roberts and Brandon (Bridgett) Roberts; and a great granddaughter, Mika Roberts. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Tuesday, January 13 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial, with military honors, will be in Maple Hill Cemetey, Plainfield.
