Janet E. Ellis

Janet E. Ellis, 54, of Plainfield, IN., passed away November 16, 2008. She was born July 11, 1954 in Indianapolis, IN. She had been an administrative assistant in the Federal U.S. Courts for Judge John D. Tinder for over 20 years. She was very active in her support for women with breast cancer where she was a national counselor with Y-ME. She was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19 at 10:30 am. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday, November 18 from 3:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Kurt Ellis; sons, Ryan (Kathryn), Kyle (Yulian) and Thomas Ellis; brothers, Jim, Rick and Steve Engledow; sister, Theresa Engledow; granddaughter, Isabella Ellis. Contributions may be made to Indianapolis Komen Foundation or Plainfield Christian Church for the mission work in Haiti.
