Mona R. Sechrest

Mona R. Sechrest, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away December 6, 2014. She was born November 27, 1948 in Indianapolis, to the late Martin and Madge Sechrest. Mona retired in 2010 after 25 plus years at the Indianapolis Public Library. Prior to that ,she worked for American States Insurance. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 10, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 11, at 11:00 am in Maple Hill Cemetery Chapel. She was preceded in death by her brother, Martin Joseph Sechrest. Survivors include her sisters, Marta Sechrest (Brad) Greene, Marcia (Harry) Darnell and Mara Gay (Larry) Gividen; niece and nephew, Kasey and Jared Darnell; beloved aunt, Lois Burger; numerous cousins and lifelong friends.
