Max Winsted

Max Winsted, 73, of Plainfield, passed away November 15, 2014. He was born October 13, 1941 in Plainfield, IN. He was an US Army veteran. He worked for Hand Standard Service Station for many years. He later was a delivery driver for Pony Express. Max is survived by his mother, Mae L. (Hand) Winsted; a sister, Janice E. (Herbert) Weiss; a brother-in-law, Donald Cummings; 6 nieces and nephews, Dona Huddleston, Wendy Cummings, Jeff (Pam) Weiss, Dave (Andrea) Cummings, Greg (Carol) Weiss, and Jennifer Richards; and many great and great great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Winsted, and a sister, Linda L. Cummings. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm on Thursday, November 20, 2014 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday from 12:30 pm until service time at 1:30 pm.
