L. Marie Taylor

L. Marie Taylor, 75, of Avon, IN, passed away September 29, 2014. She was born September 19, 1939 to the late Eli and Dora (Taylor) Pitman in Somerset, KY. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the El Bethel Baptist Church in Avon. Marie is survived by a daughter, Mary E. (Charles) Holland; a step-son, Delbert Joe (Madonna) Taylor; three sisters, Katherine (Louis) Woodall, Thelma "Jo" (Andy) Woodall, and Evelyn (Mike) Hardwick; and three grandchildren, Logan Holland, Craig Taylor and Laura Ford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie W. Taylor. Funeral services will be at 7:30 pm on Thursday, October 2, 2014 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, IN where friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 pm until service time at 7:30 pm. Additional calling and services will be on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in Somerset, KY where friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Taylor Cemetery in Frazer, KY.
