Blanche Jacobs

Blanche Jacobs, 97, of Avon, passed away September 18, 2008. She was born December 31, 1910 to the late Elza and Ida (McGlothlin) Roberts in Monroe County, IN. She was an assembly line worker for US Rubber Co in Indianapolis for 21 years retiring in 1964. She is survived by three daughters, Leatrice H. Roberson, Peggy A. Jacobs, and Barbara S. Denton; 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Willard Jacobs; a daughter, Ramona Gibbs; 2 grandsons, and a great granddaughter. Services will be at the Chapel at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield at 11:00 am on Saturday September 20, 2008, with one hour of calling prior to services at the chapel at Maple Hill Cemetery.
