Edward Louis Vermillion

Edward Louis Vermillion, 85, of Plainfield, passed away September 9, 2014 in his residence. He was born August 19, 1929 in Terre Haute, IN to the late Leo and Margaret Vermillion. He was a WW II Navy veteran. Ed retired in 1981 after 31 years as a tool and die maker for GM Allison. His memberships include Plainfield United Methodist Church and Cartersburg Masonic Lodge # 65. Funeral services will be Friday, September 12, at 10:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Thursday, September 11, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Bono Cemetery, Bono, IN. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Howard Vermillion; sons, Dan (Linda) and Dennis Vermillion; 3 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
