Thomas Francis Roche

Thomas F. "Bunk" Roche, 75, of Plainfield, IN. passed away September 13, 2008. He was born August 23, 1933 in Crawfordsville, IN. to the late Thomas F. and Marie Roche Sr. He retired in 1979 after 27 years as a printer for the Indianapolis Star. He had also worked as a security guard for Wackenhut Security. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. His memberships include St Joseph Catholic Church, Zionsville American Legion, Mooresville VFW and the Plainfield Eagles Lodge. A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, September 17 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Tuesday, September 16 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Crawfordsville, IN. Survivors include his wife, Sally (Weeks) Roche; daughters, Pam (Marvin) Carter and Marla (Dennis) Wonders; step-daughter, Marcie (Mike) Blankenship; brothers, Patrick and Jack Roche; sisters, Nancy Foust, Rochelle Hankenson and Katherine Dockins; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
