Madge Toney Smith

Madge (Toney) Smith, 86, of Plainfield, IN., passed away September 12, 2008. She was born August 4, 1922 in Trenton, IN. to the late George and Rosie Toney. She was a homemaker and member of the Plainfield Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a son, Arnold Smith and her husband, Arthur H. Smith. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 17 at 10:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Tuesday, September 16 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Cartersburg, IN. Survivors include sons, Kenneth and Howard Smith; daughters, Millie Gill and Rachel Petree; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
