Laura Mae Underwood

Laura Mae Underwood, 92, of Plainfield, passed away September 1, 2014. She was born September 12, 1921 to the late George and Minnie (Thompson) Mantooth in Monrovia, IN. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church By The Side Of The Road. Laura is survived by her husband, Eddie E. Underwood; a son, Michael R. (Beth) Underwood; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Dohgne; two grandchildren, Timothy (Crystal) and Matthew (Laura) Underwood; and 7 great grandchildren, Andrea, Abigail, Allison, Lucas, Magdeline, Lincoln, and Miana. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, September 5, 2014 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday, September 4 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Clayton Cemetery.
