Leonard M. Cavallero, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away August 29, 2014. He was born March 15, 1935 to the late Jose and Grace (Otten) Cavallero in Chicago, IL. He worked as a Passenger Service Representative for US Airways for 30 years retiring in 1987. He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Plainfield. Leonard is survived by his wife, Nancy J. (McElvain) Cavallero; three sons, Michael W. (Sonja), Rick L., and Patrick J. (Tina) Cavallero; a daughter, Donna M. (Donald) Cavallero-Presdorf; two step-sons, Chris (Angela) and Pat Dietz; a step-daughter, Laura Ann (Richard) VanNote; a brother, Joseph Cavallero; three sisters, Frances Cavallero-Mengoni, Peggy Grion-Denham, and Helen Grion-Baldwin; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marian J. (Hawk) Cavallero and a sister, Lucille Grion and a brother, Fred Grion. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday September 2, 2014 at the St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 710 E. Buchanan St. in Plainfield, and where friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Entombment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lions Den Lunch Program at St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
