Wanda Lee Corkern

Wanda Lee Corkern, 88, of Plainfield, passed away August 24, 2014. She was born July 22, 1926 to the late Robert Denvil and Clemie Mae (Pettitt) Touchstone in Amite, LA. She was a homemaker, waitress and seamstress. Wanda is survived by two sons, Robbie Dee Travis and Thomas Eddie Ingram; a daughter, Linda Gayle (Randy) Sims; a step-son, Daryl Corkern; a step-daughter, Debbie Corkern; a brother, Durwood Touchstone; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arbie W. Corkern. Funeral services will be at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mount Herman, LA.
