Elbert "Jack" Spencer

Elbert Jackson "Jack" Spencer, 84, of Plainfield, passed away August 21, 2014 in his residence. He was born June 9, 1930 in Orleans, IN to the late John and Linnie Spencer. He was a mechanic for over 30 years for Ed Phillips Chrysler Plymouth in Plainfield. Jack was a Korean War veteran and member of Avon VFW. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 27, at 11:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Tuesday, August 26, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, IN. Survivors include his wife, Garnett Spencer; children, Carl (Joy) Spencer, Cheryl Miller, Debra (Buck) Gibson, Brian and Jeffrey Spencer; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
