James R. Freeman

James R. Freeman, 67, of Indianapolis, passed away August 8, 2014. He was born July 20, 1947 to the late Harold and Marjorie (Potter) Freeman in Indianapolis, IN. He was a 1965 graduate of Avon High School. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked 20 years at various Denneys Restaurant in the Indianapolis area retiring as manager in 2010. James is survived by a son, Robert J. (Ronda) Freeman; two sisters, Sharon K. (Larry) Couch and Debra F. (David) Reagin; and a granddaughter, Harley Freeman. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Freeman. Funeral services will be at 7:00 pm on Monday, August 11, 2014 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield where friends may call on Monday from 5:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm
