Warren "Rusty" Whitaker

Warren "Rusty" Whitaker, 55, of Plainfield, passed away on July 19, 2014. He was born January 9, 1959 in Greenfield, IN to the late Warren Whitaker Sr. and Rebecca (Roberts) Whitaker Dose Gipson. Warren was a United States Marine veteran. He worked for Roma Foods as a supervisor in transportation. His memberships include Kingsway Christian Church. A Memorial Service will be Sunday, July 27, at 3:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may call from 2:00 pm until service time. Private burial will be in Marion National Cemetery. Survivors include wife, Janice Whitaker; sons, Jeremy, Justin, Jordan and Jacob Whitaker; daughter, Jennifer Whitaker; brothers, Harvey and Greg Dose; sisters, Denise Lapp, Lisa Rominger and Karen Andrei. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
