Bonnie E. Thompson

Bonnie E. Thompson, 80, of Plainfield, passed away July 5, 2014. She was born February 23, 1934 to the late Harold and Francis (Carter) McClain in Newark, OH. She worked at Plainfield High School as a custodian for 13 years retiring in 1995. Bonnie is survived by four sons, Wallace E. (Debbie), Harold E."Skip", Manford E. Jr. (Judy), and Jack W. (Sheila) Thompson; 11 grandchildren, David (Ann) Thompson, Jennifer (Shawn) Adolfs, Michelle (Ben) Castagneri, Donna (Jonathan) Voelker, Sharon (Keith) Richards, Kristy (Jason) Bumgardener, Kyle (Allison) Thompson, Winter Wale Aderemi, Misti (Ernie) Thompson, Sarah (Chris) Sircy, and Troy Thompson; and 22 great grandchildren, Ashley, Jamie, Samantha, Katie, Alex, Cassandra, Gavin, Jacob, Caleb, Jordon, Jeffery, Justin, Josiah, Aniston, Bailey, Colin, Maddie, Kesha, Tamika, DeShawn, Dawn'Te, Ashley, and Kacie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manford E. Thompson Sr., and a brother, Jack McClain .Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
