June Edwards

June Edwards, 89, of Plainfield, passed away July 3, 2014. She was born August 9, 1924 to the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Bennett) Knight in Carlisle, IN. She was a homemaker. June married Noble W. Edwards on December 31, 1947. Besides her husband who survives her, she is also survived by a son, Mark A. Edwards; three daughters, Cindi J. Cobb, Barb S. (Dennis) Carter, and Melissa A. (Cantrell) Coffey; a step-son, Fred Edwards and a step-daughter, Rita Johnson; a brother, Kenneth Knight; 5 grandchildren, Cameron (Joey) Cobb, Travis (Erin) Cobb, Jameson Carter, Cole and Westin Coffey; 5 step-grandchildren, Brian (Ruthie) Johnson, Bob (Shannon) Johnson, Chris Edwards, Shaun (Leo) Edwards and Anna Edwards; three great grandchildren, Jenson, Nolan and Nora Cobb; and 6 great step-grandchildren, Gregor, Annika and Kylie Johnson, Ava and Baylen Edwards and Jayden Brow. Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Monday, July 7, 2014 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Monday from 10:00 am until service time at noon. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Carlisle, IN.
