Irma L. Albertson

Irma L. Albertson, 88, of Plainfield, IN. passed away August 21, 2008. She was born February 1, 1920 in Danville, IN. to the late Archie and Myrtle (Smith) Ludlow. She had been a bookkeeper for Albertson and Son for many years. Her favorite hobby was photography where she won numerous competitions including the Indiana State Fair. She was a member of the American Pen Women and the Plainfield Christian Church, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23 at 10:00 am. Visitation will be Friday, August 22 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the church. Survivors include her husband, John W. Albertson; son, John P. Albertson; daughter, Rebecca Burtt; sister, Leanna Harper; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
