Myra K. Holmes

Myra K. Holmes, 90, of Plainfield, passed away May 21, 2014. She was born February 2, 1924 to the late Edward and Amelia (Geiser) Kohles in North Tonawanda, NY. She was a homemaker. She is survived by three daughters, Dianne D. (Harold) Davis, Cheryl A. (Bill) Smith, and Kathryn J. (Michael) Underwood; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph R. Holmes and a son, Ralph E. Holmes. She was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church (1210 E. Main St.) Plainfield, where a Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 24, 2014. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 23 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. There will be a Rosary Service on Friday at 4:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
