Jean L. Sheets

Jean L. Sheets, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away May 20, 2014. She was born May 4, 1930 in Detroit, MI to the late Lee and Ella Gant. She was a 1948 graduate of Ben Davis High School. Jean was a homemaker and member of Bridgeport Central Baptist Church. She was also past president of Hendricks County Art League. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert N. Sheets. Funeral services will be Friday, May 23, at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 11:00 am until service time. Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery. Survivors include sons, Aaron (Terry) and David Sheets; daughter, Jennifer (Donald) Ahonen; step-son, Craig (Donna) Sheets; sister, Ruby Gant; 1 grandchild, 2 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
