Kenneth E. Farley, 67, of Plainfield, passed away May 5, 2014. He was born June 27, 1946 to the late Stanley and Emily (Wolpert) Farley in Hamilton, OH. Ken was a veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division, serving as a field medic, during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Purdue University, and taught Computer Science at IUPUI. He was also a senior manager for Amerada Hess Oil Co for 17 years, retiring in 2001. Ken is survived by his wife, Linda J. (Coy) Farley; three sons, Sean C. (Achit), Terry G. (Michele) and Kevin M. (Kathy) Farley; three brothers, James, Dennis and Mike Farley; a sister, Susie Risch; and three grandchildren, Ciara, Conall and Emily Farley. He was a member of St Susanna Catholic Church, where a Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 9, 2014. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 8, in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
