Jessica L. Broady

Jessica L. Broady, 26, of Cicero, passed away April 13, 2014.  She was born June 28, 1987 in Urbana, IL.  She was a 2006 graduate of Avon High School, and a 2010 graduate of IUPUI School of Engineering and Technology with a BS in Construction Engineering Management.  While at IUPUI she was on the Dean's list four times and graduated in the top 10 female in her class. She was employed for the last 5 years for Messer Construction, Co. as a Project Engineer.   She is survived by her husband, Brandon M. Broady; a son, Carson Gregory Broady; a step-son, Gage M. Broady; her parents, Mark J. and Elizabeth K. (Nelson) Wager; a brother, Joseph A. Wager; a sister, Sarah E. (Colin) Nedderman; parents-in-law, Jeffrey and Christy Broady; grandparents, Don and Pat Nelson; Mary L. Wager, and Gregory and Virginia Broady; greatgrandmother, Gladys L. Steward; brother-in-law, Brent Broady; and many aunts and uncles.  Memorial services will be held at the Plainfield Christian Church, 800 Dan Jones Road, at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 19, 2014, and where friends may call at the church from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers a scholarship fund for her son, Carson Broady has been set up at any Huntington Bank.  Also memorial contributions may be made to the scholarship fund at the IUPUI School of Engineering at 799 W. Michigan St., Indianapolis, IN 46202 in memory of Jessica L. Broady.
