Carolyn J. (Beagle) Davee, of Plainfield, peacefully passed away April 12, 2014. She was born January 2, 1955 in Indianapolis to Jerome and Emma Lee Beagle. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University, and was an RN at IU and St. Vincent Hospitals in Indianapolis as well as at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville. Carolyn truly loved her family and friends; with her calm, loving, and reassuring demeanor she positively influenced many lives. She also enjoyed a multitude of crafts, was an avid reader, and was an enthusiastic member of Plainfield's "Tuesdays with Friends." Carolyn was united in marriage to William Davee on September 13, 1997 at the Hope Presbyterian Church, where a memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 16, at 12:00 Noon with calling from 11:00 am until service time. Additional calling will be Tuesday, April 15, from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Carolyn is cherished by those who survive; her husband, Dr. William Davee; mother, Emma Lee Beagle, brother Dr. James (Dr. Marie) Beagle; sisters Barbara (Michael) Summers and Mary (Timothy) Tate; nieces and nephews; Christopher and Courtney Summers; Sarah, Zachary, and Jason Tate, Kim Bell, and Keri Pena. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Misty Eyes Animal Shelter, or IU Hospice.
