Lillie Isabell Rice

Lillian Isabell Wood Rice, 86, of Plainfield, passed away July 13, 2008. She was born May 25, 1922 to the late George and Violet (Loughmiller) Wood in Steger, IL. She worked at the Kieger Corp for 9 years and Avon Aircraft for 6 years. She is survived by a son, Richard P. (Vickie) Rice; a daughter, Carol A. (Rice) Walter; a sister, Georgeanna Bell; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton E. Rice, and a twin sister, Vivian C. Wood. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Wednesday July 16, 2008 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Wednesday from 10:00 am until service time at 12:00 noon. Burial, Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
