Sidona Zehner Frazier, 95, of Terre Haute, formerly of Plainfield passed away on February 22, 2014. She was born to Herman and Bridget Buhnekemper Zehner on December 24, 1918, in Effingham, Illinois. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband of 69 years, Lester Lee Frazier; three brothers: John (Jack) Zehner, Bobby Zehner who died in infancy at four months, and Harold (Bud) Zehner of Toccao, Georgia; and one sister, Margaret Kenter, Teutopolis, Illinois, and one grandson, Brian Frazier, Elkhart, Indiana. She is survived by three sons: L.E. (April) Frazier, Bob (Luella) Frazier, both of Terre Haute, Indiana, and Steve (Donna) Frazier, Plainfield, Indiana. Three sisters: Norma Wernsing, Altamont, Illinois; Bernice Maier, Eagle River, Wisconsin; Mary Lou Engle, Danville, Illinois; and one sister-in-law, Mary Frazier, Apple Valley, California. Ten grandchildren: Tami Kolodziej, Terri McGuire, Joe Frazier, and Chris Frazier, Terre Haute, Indiana; Danny Frazier, Morganville, New Jersey; Susan Chiles, Lena, Illinois; Judy Enderle, Carmel, Indiana; Brad Frazier, Plainfield, Indiana; Melissa Frazier, Indianapolis, Indiana; and Larry Frazier, Pensacola, Florida. 15 great grandchildren, 5 step-great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, and 2 step-great-great grandchildren. She previously belonged to the Delta Alpha Gamma Sorority, Beta Chapter, and the Democrat Women's Club. Sidona retired from Duke Energy, Plainfield, Indiana, formerly Public Service Indiana, Marketing Department, as a Secretary. Previously she worked for Franklin Life Insurance Company at their home office in Springfield, Illinois, and the Neumode Shop in Mattoon, Illinois. Sidona enjoyed being with her family, traveling, playing bridge, golfing, crocheting, knitting, and reading. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church "Educational Trust Fund", 101 E. Virginia Ave. P.O. Box 764, Effingham, Illinois 62401. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 26, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, with Mass at 3:00 p.m. at St. Susanna Catholic Church, 1210 E. Main St., in Plainfield.
