Lawrence F. "Larry" Kelso

Lawrence F. "Larry" Kelso, 76, of Indianapolis, passed away February 5, 2014. He was born December 11, 1937 to the late Samson and Jean (Ellis) Kelso in Indianapolis, IN. He was a US Army veteran. He worked as an office manager/dispatcher at ABF Freight for 18 years retiring in 1982. Larry is survived by his wife, Jean E. (Wright) Kelso; a son, Steven L. (Jennifer) Kelso; two daughters, Vickie J. (Eric) Smith, and Theresa A. (Harold Steve) McElroy; a sister, Diane Burrows; 5 grandchildren, Kelli and Amber McElroy, Cole and Grayson Smith and Alexander Kelso; and a great grandson, Cody Southgate. Memorial services will be at the Chapel Rock Christian Church, 2020 N. Girls School Road in Indianapolis at 2:00 pm. on Saturday, February 15, 2014, where friends may call one hour prior to services. A reception will be held at the church following the memorial service. Inurnment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
