Rinze Joe Stapert

Rinze Joe Stapert, 91, of Avon, IN passed away January 17, 2014. He was born July 3, 1922 in Indianapolis to the late John and Tenna Stapert. Rinze was a WW II Army veteran. He was a lifelong farmer and had worked for Maplehurst Dairy many years. His memberships include Fairfield Friends Meeting, Fraternal Order of Eagles #3207 and Fraternal Order of Police # 132. He was preceded in death by his wife and granddaughter, Helen Joan Stapert and Carey Stapert. Funeral services will be Monday, January 20 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call from 11:00 am until service time. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include sons, Larry J. (Marsha) and Marvin L. Stapert; daughter, Linda K. (Jeff) Mitny; brother, Raymond Stapert; sister, Anna Miller; grandson, Chris Stapert; great grandson, Rinze Joe Stapert II.
