Norman Duane Raikes

Norman Duane Raikes, 82, of Plainfield, IN, passed away in his residence on December 19, 2013. He was born in Frankfort, IN to the late Paul and Ruth Raikes. Norm had owned Industrial Design Engineering in Speedway for 23 years, retiring in 2000. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert M. Raikes. A memorial service will be Monday, December 23, at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11:00 am until service time. Burial will be in Bainbridge Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Kaye A. Raikes; children, Jim (Glenda) and Gary (Lori) Raikes, Scott (Markanna) White, Carol Eckert, Patty (Cary) Dill, Debbie Dick, Cheri (Bill) Davis and Kim (Jim) Cox; brother, Paul Raikes; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
