Catherine Lucille Ross

Catherine "Lucille" Pilman Ross, 96, of Plainfield, IN. died peacefully at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home on June 13, 2008. Lucille was born on January 8, 1912 in Brownstown, IN., the fourth of nine children of the late John and Effie (McKain) Pilman. Lucille was married to the love of her life... Frank A. Ross for 51 glorious years. She was a homemaker and longtime active member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church and Goben Memorial Methodist Church, as well as a former member of Alpha Delta Omega social sorority and Eastern Star. Family was the focus of her life. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, son, Donald R. Ross and son-in-law Chauncey R. Musgrave. Survivors include her daughters, Shirley McCoy and Mary Musgrave (Roger) Green; daughter-in-law, Jane Ross (Ron) True; grandchildren, Richard (Jennifer) McCoy, Lisa Ross (Tim) Tummers, Mandy Musgrave (Danny) Wills, Maria Musgrave (Matthew) Nuijens, Marlo Musgrave (Martin) Poole; great grandchildren, Megan, Morgan and Marin McCoy, Emily, Abigail, Matthew and Nicholas Tummers, Caroline and Jack Wills, Grace Riley, Cate and Jay Nuijens and Camden Poole; sister, Marjorie Strouse. Visitation will be Monday, June 16 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home from 5:00- 8:00 pm. A chapel service will be Tuesday, June 17 at 11:00 am in the King Solomon Mausoleum at Washington Park North Cemetery with Ron Mercer officiating.
