Mary Jane Davis

Mary Jane Davis, 58, of Indianapolis, IN. passed away June 12, 2008. She was born December 20, 1949 in Lawrenceville, IL. to Robert and Lois (Allen) Davis. She worked for Golden Rule Insurance Company in Indianapolis as an underwriter for 36 years. Her memberships include the Billett United Methodist Church. She received her B.S. in Education from Illinois State University in 1972. Visitation will be Sunday, June 15 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, IN. Additional visitation will be on Monday, June 16 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, IL. with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Billett Cemetery, Lawrence County, IL. Survivors include her parents, Robert and Lois Davis; brothers, Alan, Joe (Sandi), Tom (Beth), Mike (Sara) and Brian Davis; sister, Peggy Brookheart.
