Roberta G Foster

Roberta "Bobbie" G. Foster, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away December 1, 2013. She was born September 8, 1941 in Beech Grove to the late Robert and Lola Carmichael. Following Robert's passing Lola married George Springate who raised Roberta along with Lola. She received her nursing degree from Marian College and then worked at St. Vincent Hospital 36 years retiring in 1998. Her memberships include St. Anthony Catholic Church and St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Foster. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 10, at 11:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Monday, December 9, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her children, Corey (Carla) Foster and Tobey (Joshua) Clark; brothers, Frank and Michael Springate; sister, Carolyn Eggers; 7 grandchildren.
