Kay DeLee Kost, 73, of Plainfield, passed away at home with her family by her side on November 21, 2013. She was born November 26, 1939 in Indianapolis, to the late Norman and Eleanora Totten. Kay was the former owner of Coiffures By Kay in Avon and the Clipper Ship in Plainfield. Funeral services will be Monday, November 25, at 10:30 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Sunday, November 24, from 2:00 - 6:00 pm. Inurnment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, John "Jack" Kost; daughters, Jackie Kost, Karen (Manuel) Gentry, Karol Kost and Kathy Woodall, Janet (John) Hardwick and Kathy (Greg) Crowe; son, Scott (Tiffany) Kost; brother, Andy Totten; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
