Sara A. Nighbert

Sara A. Nighbert, 94, of Mooresville, formerly of Plainfield, passed away October 26, 2013. She was 1 of 7 children born May 25, 1919 in Jefferson County IN., to the late Dallas and Bessie Noell. Sara was a homemaker and had worked at McCrackens Answering Service for Indiana National Bank. She was a member of Plainfield Christian Church , where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery, Jefferson County, IN. She was preceded in death by a daughter Olive Dyan Nighbert. Survivors include her husband, Sidney Lee Nighbert; children, Judy (Jim) Newman, Alta Linthicum, Russell (Barbara) Nighbert and Noell (Blee) Nighbert; brother, Jesse B. Noell; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
