Norman E. Carlile Sr., 87, of Mooresville, formerly of Plainfield, passed away September 24, 2013 in Brownsburg Health Care. He was born March 29, 1926 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Clyde and Geneva Carlile. Norman was a US Army veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He had owned Udes Auto Electric Shop on the west side of Indianapolis from 1945 until retirement in 1988. He was a member of Brooklyn Church of God. Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Dawn L. Carlile. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 28, at 10:30 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Friday, September 27, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Cleda Carlile; children, Donna Dellacca, Sherry (Donald) Gray, Loretta (Larry Bowden) Cunningham, Wanda (Al) Kosh and Norman (Vicki) Carlile Jr; step daughters, Illa (Gary) Schroughham and Vanessa (Mike) True; step son, Michael (Teri) Starns; 21 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
