Gregory Adam Clay, age 31, left this life and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 28th, 2013, with his family by his
side. Adam was born in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Greg Clay and Susan Clay-Daum.
He resided in Plainfield, IN. Those left behind to cherish their memories of Adam are his son, Charley; Mom and
Dad; sisters, Brandy Smith and Angela Clay; grandparents, Robert and Barb Clay,
and Bud and Charleen Daum; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews,
and close friends who loved him dearly. Adam graduated from Plainfield High School in 2001. He worked in his family's
lawn service business while towing and plowing in his favorite truck. His
generosity will be greatly missed. Adam had a passion for riding and rallying his Harley Davidson with friends. Adam enjoyed being with family as well, especially his son Charley, his nephews Tyler, Clay, Carson, and Colten; and his nieces Emma and Scarlett. His love as a son, brother, uncle, and father
will forever be in their hearts.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 4, at 10:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Tuesday, September 3, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make checks or donations payable to Indiana Members Credit Union for Adam's son, Charley Wyatt Thompson. This will be used for his college fund.
