Susan F. Runyan

Susan F. Runyan, 95, of Clayton, passed away August 18, 2013. She was born in Ripley, OH on May 23, 1918 to the late Carl F. and Gladys Donald. Susan was a RN at Methodist Hospital for several years. Later in her career she became an administrator for Danville Nursing Home. She was a member of Cartersburg Community Church. Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd E. Runyan and siblings, Carl Franklin, John, Calvin, Harry, Lenore and Virginia Donald. Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 21, at 1:30 pm in Clayton Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home from 11:00 to 1:00 pm prior to the graveside service. Survivors include children, Mark E. Runyan and Carolyn S. Heckman; grandchild, Manda Black; great grandchild, Marisa Black; several nieces and nephews.
