Carolyn S. Ferrell

Carolyn S. (Leech) Ferrell, 65, of Plainfield, IN. passed away April 14, 2008. She was born September 4, 1942 to the late Howard and Glessie Leech. She retired in 1994 after 29 years as a school teacher in Indianapolis and the Plainfield Community School System. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Kappa Associate Chapter and the Plainfield Christian Church, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18 at 10:30 am. Visitation will be Thursday, April 17 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Kay Mitchell. Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Ferrell; 2 sons, Jeff (Sara) Ferrell and Brad (Stacey) Ferrell; brother, William Leech; 2 grandchildren, Jordan and Kamryn Ferrell; nieces, Debbie Nagpal and Kim Komo. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
