John ED Eisert II

John Edward (Ed) Eisert II, 69, of Plainfield, passed away June 21, 2013. He was born December, 24, 1943 in Connersville, IN to the late John and Sallie Eisert. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Ed was a member of the 1961 Kokomo High School state championship basketball team. He also was a star football, golf and baseball player. He received his Associate Degree from Indiana University, Kokomo extension. Ed was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Cincinnati, OH. He retired from Stoops Buick in 2009 as a sales manager. He previously held the same position with National Car Sales. A memorial service will be Thursday, June, 27, at 5:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, with visitation from 3:00 pm until service time. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Ralph Bruce Craft. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Eisert; son, John Edward (Eddie) Gerlack; daughters, Beth Wetecamp and Amy Marheim; step-son, John David Muench; step-daughter, Tami (Rodney) Ratliff; sisters, Ruth Routzahn, Sharon Selm, Loretta Jennings and Sylvia Holland; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
